Fewster Square Dental Practice is a project that Nicholson Nairn Architects were appointed as the preferred Architects for Cameron Builders.

NNA took the original approved planning drawings and developed the design from planning through building regulation and construction stage.
The design incorporates two floors with surgeries located around the central public core and staff areas located to the rear. The layout ensures that clear infection control barriers are established and that the public
have no access to areas which may lead to contamination of sterile areas.

Wall, floor and ceiling finishes were considered throughout the design process with continuous anti-bacterial flooring used throughout the treatment areas. Work surfaces are impervious, sealed and a single run and easy to clean and curve up at the wall. The room are designed to be uncluttered to allow easy access for cleaning.

The site itself was known for potential anti-social behaviour and with this in mind the building was fitted integrated lintol roller shutters which are only visible at night when the surgery is unoccupied and are discretely hidden.
