Reaston View, Slaley

Development of Seven New Dwellings

1/6

Reaston View, Slaley is small development of 7 no. dwellings for Two Castles Housing Association, consisting of 4 no. 2 bed bungalows and 3 no. 3 bed 2 storey dwellings.

The site is situated on the edge of Slaley village, a traditional ribbon form of village with the surrounding building predominantly 1 and 2 bedroom dwellings constructed in a range of stone and more mdern brick and render.

The site has spectacular views towards Slaley Hall, and is prominent when approaching Slaley from the south. Constructed within the green belt, the development was carefully designed to blend into the existing village through the use of careful massing and selection of materials

The dwellings, constructed using a highly insulated structural timber frame system, random rubble stone outer leaf and reclaimed natural slate roof finish was awarded a VERY GOOD eco-homes rating.
