Nicholson Nairn are proud to have been involved with the redevelopment of what was Matfen Home Farm to create a high-end office development of approximately 8000sqft for Matfen Estates. The building is divided into 12 modern self-contained units with a shared conference room and other facilities.

This highly efficient building is heated using a district bio-mass heating system which was installed in 2014 by Matfen Estates. The building has also been designed to reflect the traditional agricultural buildings of the surrounding area, using a mixture of random rubble stone outer leaf with slate roof on the original part of the building, and timber cladding with single ply roofing on the more modern extension to the building.

 

The sensitive rural design is befitting of its Listed Building setting.
