The Coach House
Gosforth

The Coach House, set back at Moor Road North in the heart of Gosforth, provides a unique detached family home. The property has a discreet entrance from the street, with electrically operated gates sliding back, with stone pillars to reveal a double courtyard and parking area. The stone house was significantly remodelled and extended to create this stunning luxury home.  Nicholson Narin successfully negotiated Planning Approval for the scheme which sits within a highly sensitive Conservation Area.

The house, built in stone with a pitched slate roof, is partly clad in cedar wood panelling, contrasting with the leaded bays and aluminium coated windows of the new build extension. The majority of windows are triple glazed and the finishes of the house are highly impressive. The main sitting room is an airy double height volume with a feature fireplace and exposed trusses, over-looked by the study space on the upper floor. The property enjoys light, bright and energy efficient rooms with state of the art ‘Rako’ lighting system and Sonas sound system.
