The Old Excise House, Lagavulin Distillery
Proposed Remodelling of Existing Building
The Old Excise House was originally developed in the Nineteenth century as part of the Lagavulin Distillery. The building stands to the south of the main distillery.
The last owner of the property began 'modernisation' and redevelopment, which in effect, created more problems than it solved for the current owner.
Nicholson Nairn Architects are pleased to have been able to assist the current owner in establishing his brief, preparing scheme designs for the internal rearrangement and obtaining the required Building Warrant.
The property is now run as a luxury B&B. Check it out at www.excisehouselagavulin.com
